Between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance

We enter the Palazzo del Bargello, a magical place where you can still breathe the medieval air, now home to one of the most evocative museums in Florence, which houses works by extraordinary sculptors such as Donatello, Michelangelo and Giambologna.

Its construction dates back to the second half of the Thirteenth century and boasts being the first building built in the city as a seat of public institutions.

The guided tour will continue with a walk through the squares and the most important monuments of the historic center of Florence.

After a break we will visit the beautiful Church of Santa Croce, a meeting place for the great personalities who contributed to the creation of the Florentine identity between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and then head south to get to know the popular district of Oltrarno Fiorentino.
